As the Fire Chief, I want to take a moment to speak from the heart about our mission and commitment to this community. Every day, our firefighters, and support staff stand ready — not just to respond to emergencies, but to prevent them through education, preparedness, and community engagement.
Our work is built on three pillars: safety, service, and trust. Safety means ensuring our crews have the best training, equipment, and support to do their jobs effectively. Service means going beyond the call — whether that’s rescuing someone in need, helping a neighbor after a storm, or teaching fire prevention in schools. Trust means being transparent, accountable, and always putting the community first.
We know emergencies can be some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life. That’s why we approach every call with compassion, professionalism, and respect. Our goal is not only to protect lives and property but to strengthen the bonds that make our community resilient.
